Studies have shown...Students who are involved in music are more likely to become better pupils in the areas of Math, English, Reading, Self Confidence and Social Development.

Private instruction helps students gain increased knowledge and expertise with a much higher degree of accuracy and success. Students will experience far less frustration by omitting the 'trial and error' process and obtain a greater level of proficiency and understanding.

Parents who are directly involved with student lessons will also learn how to approach my methods of practice and learning. This typically results in a higher success rate and promotes a good student, parent and teacher relationship. Students are encouraged (but are not required) to participate in two annual recitals.

My mission is to assist students to "Define and work towards achieving their goals while gaining self-esteem from a sense of personal accomplishment".

                      Studies Include...

Music Theory* Jazz Improvisation* Sight Reading* Instrument Techniques* Ear Training* Alternate Fingering * Tonguing & Articulation Techniques* Chords and Harmony * Tone and Pitch Development* Diaphragmatic Breathing and Support* Scale & Rhythm Variations*   Performance Techniques*  Self Discipline*
